Let us get to know you better! We need the following pieces of information:
Email Address: This is where we'll send you virtual postcards (okay, just important account info).
Phone Number: We need this to safeguard your account and deter fraud on our platform. This phone number provides our team with a secure method of verifying your identity as the owner of your bitnimbus account. We will only ever use this phone number to verify your identity by sending a verification code as an SMS.
Username: Your unique identifier in the Bitnimbus sky. This is your identity that you will use to login. Make it as cloudy or as sunny as you like!
Password: Your super secret key (make it strong!)
Pro tip: Use a password manager to generate strong passwords and store them in a secure fashion. You can also generate a secure password quickly using Python3 and CLI:
A verification code will be sent to the phone number provided to ensure that the phone number is active, reachable, and owned by you. Please input the code sent to you within ~10 minutes to complete this step. If you don't receive the code, you can request a new one or try again later. Once verified, your account will have enhanced security and access to additional features. If you need help, feel free to reach out to us at support@bitnimbus.io.
After verification, you'll drift gently to our personal details page. Here's where you'll add your name and address. We need this information for billing.

Username:
Must be a minimum of 5 characters and a maximum of 50 characters.
Can consist of letters, digits, and underscore
Must be unique to your account
Password:
Must be a minimum of 12 characters and maximum of 64 characters
Must include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters
At this time, we’re offering a free trial to our micro kafka clusters! Once you’re signed up, you can create a trial-eligible cluster without a credit card. The cluster will be free for the first 14 days since the date of creation.
In an effort to combat spam and keep our platform secure, new accounts are subject to limits on the number of clusters that can be created. If you’ve reached the limits of your account, please reach out to us and we shall upgrade your account!
